Now in its ninth year, the Fondazione Specchio dei tempi's Forza Mamme! project supports 85 single-parent families who find themselves alone with their children, often in precarious economic conditions and with little chance of entering or re-entering the world of work. Being close to these families means, first and foremost, supporting them in their daily difficulties (such as, for example, doing the shopping for themselves and their children), but above all, providing them with a pathway to personal and job growth. These people are often so busy solving their daily problems related to their children and their conditions that they no longer see their physical and psychological needs as a priority. With this project, Specchio dei tempi aims to put beneficiaries back at the center of their own lives to be better off with themselves, their children, and provide them with the means to re-enter the world of work.
The goal is to promote the autonomy and socioeconomic well-being of single-parent families in vulnerable situations by providing them with concrete tools for reintegration into work, improved physical and psychological health, and the economic support they need to cope with daily difficulties.
